1. Be kind
Everyone was a beginner once. No harassment, hate, spam, or pressuring people in DMs. Disagree about substrate all you like, but stay civil.
2. List honestly
- Use real photos of what you're offering, and say how many.
- Mention pests, snails, algae, or any recent illness in the tank.
- Only list animals and plants that came from your own tanks.
- Mark listings as traded once they're gone.
3. Animal welfare comes first
- Only ship livestock when the weather is safe, and pack it properly.
- No sick or dying animals, and no species that are unsuitable to keep.
- No release of plants or animals into the wild, ever.
4. Follow local laws
Some regions ban or restrict certain plants, invertebrates and fish. You are responsible for making sure your listing and trade are legal where both people live. Listings for illegal species will be removed.
5. Trade fairly and rate fairly
- Show up when you said you would, or let the other person know.
- Leave honest, specific ratings. No fake reviews, rating swaps or revenge ratings.
- Payment and shipping are arranged between members. Agree on the details before anyone sends money or animals.
6. Not allowed
- Wild-caught protected species, or anything illegal to own or sell where you live
- Dry goods resellers posting commercial ads (it's a community, not a store)
- Scams, off-platform phishing, or asking for personal information you don't need
